How to configure telephone line

Hey, I'm about to replace all my internal telephone wiring in an attempt to decrease my attenuation and increase my SNR. I have a question though:

I also have a phone hooked up on the line that I use ADSL on. Will removing the phone all together (including all its wiring) improve my line quality (in terms of attenuation and SNR)?

Also, if suppose I have no choice but to connect the phone as well, what is the best way to do it? Currently, the line is sent to the phone BEFORE it enters the ADSL splitter (small box, which is right before my router). Is this correct? Or should the line go straight into the splitter, and from there one goes into the router, and another to the phone?

Also, does the length and/or type/quality of the LAN line that goes from the router to the computer have any affect?

1.as far as i know attenuation and SNR cannot be removed by changing the internal fone wiring ...it is somewat related to PTCL back end.... u cannot do anything on ur own just tell them to clear ur line and normal maintenance would be fine.

2.if there is a splitter between phone and adsl then definitely there lies a factor of interference as the signals will be used by both the devices at the same time..

3.there are two splitters avaiable i dont know which one u are using if it has an option of dual output connection then u can connect dsl and phone with ease without any interference ...if it has single output then u might not get maximum out of the connection..

4.. yes it ill.... for instance smaller the length the data travel faster inside cable with less chance of data errors.

between why u asking these questions are u facing any problems reguarding adsl speed or wat .....
