High pings in Call of Duty Black Ops II

Just bought Call of Duty Black Ops II.

Well since its a new steam account, i cant add any friends due to steam restrictions. And secondly, the matchmaking system always matches me to servers where i get a 200+ ping. It doesn't fetch even a single server when i limit my ping to 100-150 in the search preferences.
Is this due to the lack of Black Ops 2 servers in Pakistan?
are there even any in the country?

Is it always going to be this way or is there any workaround to this issue? Any help would be highly appreciated.

P.S. Its definitely not a connection issue.

Pubs in BO2 usually have >200 pings. No chance of lowering that. Problem during making party is strange. Check if your NAT connection is restricted or open?

What exactly do you mean by 'problem during making party?'...
My NAT type was Moderate. I somehow turned it to 'open' by following a couple of youtube guides. But that didnt have any affect on my ping. Still 200+

I meant your friends joining you and then searching for Pub match. As in playing in ONE party together. Yeah Pings will be same no matter what NAT type you have.

well 200 ping is playable in cod bo2

there are dedicated servers in cod bo2 pc ,,and u get a good hitregistration i dont think so there is dis-advantage ..

Play on Indonesian/Singapore servers if you're on PTCL. If you are using Worldcall play on UAE Servers.
