Help Using Wateen

Hi Every1,

Pls tell me do the signals made effect on the speed as i have heard on other forums that if you get full 5/5 signals then you will get full 512k upload/download speed...but i m getting only 3/5 signals in my room and i get good download speed but slow browsing and my upload is 15/20kb/s max... so i m planing to shift my CPE from my pc room to the area where i get full signals...but 1 thing i want to ask that how i protect the CPE from sunlight(dhop) and dust+rain... Pls help me...

i dunno, im getting wateen in a few days and then ill tell u how to fix your problem, protect your pc by putting curtains on the window s in your room and cover it when not in use if u live in a place that has dust or construction work going on outside

Tell you the truth bro...wateen will not work properly, because of the big buildings, Winmax is just like a mobile which have signal to catch. I will sagest that you take cooperate DSL line.. rest is up to you bro...what you think is best for you..

im using mobilink wimax and it features two CPEs
an indoor unit similar to Wateens and an outdoor unit mounted on the roof facing the nearest mobilink tower to ensure solid bandwidth. i get 5/5 signal

Wateen using warid tower for its signals...so the warid tower is near my house as it takes abt 5 mins to readch the place...SO i guess i should get full signals in my room but still getting 3 signals...and yes i have my uncles house and the building is big so thats should causing the problem..i guess

just switch to dsl
no point struggling with wimax if u dont get a decent signal

well there is no dsl in my city so wimax is the only solution for us...i m waiting for ptcl dsl or link dot net dsl to come to sukkur....
