Forza Hub no longer works on XLive

Hi,

I hope I'm posting in the right thread:

I'm not sure how many of you have been playing Forza Horizon 2 and Motorsport 5 on the Xbox One (you should!!), but ever since FM6 has been announced, my Forza Hub app has stopped working.

After launching the app, all I see is a spinning wheel, accompanied by the message "Presenting Forza Motorsport 6.." and that's it. It does not go beyond that point.

I've tried all the standard methods in the book: hard reset/power cycle, restarting, turn on/off, quit/restart app, uninstall/install app, turn modem on/off... nothing works!:giveup:

I can't understand why this problem has started happening all of a sudden - my console's fine, all games run fine, ALL apps run fine, connection to Xbox Live is good....

Well, I'm pleasantly surprised that I'm not the only one.

Maybe it's stopped working in Pakistan... a YouTube-like situation maybe.

I'm sure all the rest of your apps are working fine?

What happens is that the Forza 6 video redirects to YouTube for playback. And since this cant play in Pakistan, the app doesnt let us proceed forward.

There shouldve been a 'skip video' option in this app.

Hope Microsoft fixes it.

Ahh..craphh! I had a hunch this might have been the problem. I even installed the YouTube app (even though I knew it wouldn't work) last night to get Forza Hub to work.

So no FREE PG Select Car Pack for us Horizon 2 lovers then... what a major shit sandwich!

This is not MS's problem at all. We're in Pakistan.. that IS the problem!!! :tpc:

Is our Turdy government ever going to unban YouTube? And you think there are more important issues like innocent people being killed over petty matters.. but NO, they want to ban YouTube over everything else cos it aired content we Muslims allegedly can't digest. :lame

Now I'm not getting the FM6 message, just: "FH is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later".

Maybe, it's similar to the way EA pulls the plug on Fifa web app? Like when Fifa 16 comes out, the web app will no longer support Fifa 15. So maybe the hub will no longer support Forza 5 and it will launch again with Forza 6 support, just a guess.

What ISP are you on? Does the YouTube app work on your console? Most likely not.

I am not able to play multiplayer on Forza6 despite having an 8mb connection and Gold memebership. You are atleast lucky enough to play online.
