Downtime error messege for some members

Um Atif (ala Innocent Devil) has asked me to make a thread about a problem he is facing. While I'm browsing PG, and surely many other members are, he seems to be getting the downtime error. The main page works fine for him, but whenever he's trying to get onto the forums, he's getting this error:

ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Er... and he has cleared his browser cookies, temporary files, history and it still doesn't work. Help needed. Fix the problem (if there is any) and suggest what he must do.

hard refresh your browser Ctrl+F5.... if u r using LAN then ask your Lan wala to clear cache...

That might be a issue of DNS cache servers, as due to the server change! if he is using DLS, cablenet then he will wait till the cache gets re-new (within 24hrs or so) or if he is using a dailup then he wait a lil more...

Also, this can be a simple browser cache issue..use the hard refresh option

PS: previously I typed a long reply on this error..but few weird things happening.the whole site is now 3 hrs behind all posts and shouts which were posted 3-4 hrs before have been deleted :S

I didn't Get any type of Problem Just Get a User name Password Thingy and Now this is also Fine
