yaar i wanted to built a new pc...........i am choosin things to add on but there's one problem cumin.....i cant make it tht affordable........its cumin lyk 90k.......n ihav maximum of 70k...........i want it to be around 60-70k.......help me.......thnx......
i have decided on this
intel core 2 duo e6400
asus p5 vm-digital home
1 gb ram -ddrII
80gbx2 hdd for raid
geforce 7600gs 512mb
creative x-fi xtreme sound card
asus dvd writer
silent casing wid 420 watts psu
22" viewsonic lcd......
other things include built in wifi+bluetooth+infrared and 8 in 1 media card reader....
all now i need is a set of decent speakers..........
help me to bring this under my range but dun ask to cut down on lcd as i need 22" for gamin at least........

These are cheap items: wifi+bluetooth+infrared and 8 in 1 media card reader which U can buy anytime or even within RS 70,000

What makes U exceed RS 90,000 price mark? how do U concluded that?

@fady: me and angry? lol cmon m8...where U found me rude? anyway keep things in your budget..like drop that altech 14K speakers..for building a dream machine even RS 200,000 is less so keep your things into the limits!

@begineer: atleast I will not wait for 4 more months if I was buying..becasue when the new ones will come they will be more expensive..and the old ones price will not get drop dramatically it will get drop by 2-3K which is not wort the half year waiting time IMO!

4 months was max. i said..... the mobos have already been launched.... wait for Core2 until end of next month... it will arrive here soon and the prices will be cheaper than current core2 prices..... u'll get a E 7650 (2.66 Ghz 4MB L2 1333 Mhz FSB) at same price as E6400


BTW AMD will be under huge pressure by these processors and price.... At Desktop level AMD might be trashed

Why take seperate 80Gb drives ?What sense does it make ??
Buying seperate drive will cost you more than a Single 200 Gb drive .

accesories include a new printer+keyboard mouse etc u knoe.......n then there r things i want to add also ........accesories r gonna cost me around 5-6k........n as u said......e6750 will be same priced as e6400 so i will get my self e6550............ie 2.33 ghz instead of e6400's 2.13 ghz and it will be lesser in price too......

1) E6400 Processor

2) P6N Diamond (it has in built X-fi creative soundcard plus it offers SLI option)

3) Geforce 7600GS (No need to get gt if you arnt playing games at 1600 * 1200 resolutions)

4) Wireless keyboard and mouse Rs. 2000 A4tech

5) Normal casing 1000-1500. After removing the PSW it should be around 1000-1200. 400 watt is more than enough for you for a 7600GS. These new cards require a hell power than previous generation cards. AC Bell PSW should not be more than 1500. So Rs. 2500

6) View Sonic VA-1912-vb = RS 13600

7) 250GB 7200RPM SATA-II (1+4 YEARS) 8MB Cache = RS 4750

10) 5.1 surrond is more than enough. It shouldnt cost u more than Rs. 6000. I have Altec lansing VS 3151 and it cost me around Rs.6000 a year back.

for how much.... this looks like a really expensive mobo... and it can do quad SLI
