Hey guys, Ive alot of Rare fighting games lying around, decided to dedicate a thread for making reviews for these games and let people know about them. Please watch and comment....if you like em, I'll make a review for the rest of them and find out about more fighting games too...

Heres my first review, This is one of my favorite fighting games... Hokuto no ken AKA Fist of the Northstar.

Excellent work with the video review, BK....thoroughly enjoyable and informative....and great editing too

I had no idea about this game, even though I'm a big fan of the anime series, so I'm glad that you've brought it to everyone's notice (especially the fighting game enthusiasts)....also, since it's from the folks that brought us the Guilty Gear/ Blazblue games

Honestly wishing I still had my PS2 with me....even then, I'm going to try and run it off the emulator and see if my PC can handle it

As for the game itself, it looks pretty slick....good sprites and backdrops, as well as flashy looking specials and all

Are Kenshiro and gang's moves in line with the anime?....as in, do we get the "Oh, I remember him/her doing this move from episode so and so" kinda nostalgic thing?

are they in line with the anime??? are you kidding me? hahaha....dude jaggi has a special super that only works against Shin...just like in the anime when he seduces shin to fight kenshiro

Kenshiro has one deadly move that has no effect on souther

( anime reference ... in the anime souther was unaffected by it )

...alsi if you remember the "you'r Already dead line " from the anime.... kenshiro has one super that sets a timer on the enemies head...which eventually kills them in 1 blow ...just like in the anime... but this move is hard to perform so u cant use it so often...takes 2 God Fist guages.

Check out Shin's fatal KO ... other movies.... dude ...it doesnt get more" inline with the anime then that " ...shin also has a suicide move which he uses to avoid defeat by the hokuto brothers...*anime reference here*

hehe...i could go on and on about it...

the game features less characters, but whatever it offers is pretty authentic...and nicely backed up!

yeah theres a game in production for xbox 360 and the ps3.... but its just another one of KOEI's warriors franchise ( dynasty warriors , samurai warriors etc ).... most of their games are mediocre so i am not getting my hopes up...waiting for the reviews tho...

If you are gona watch the anime:

start with the 1986 Fist of the north star movie

then watch all the new OVAs...i think there are 5 in total.

Great work, I really like the way you presented the whole review. Top notch editing too, the way you've timed the whole thing it doesn't seem haphazard at all(what you'd normally expect from someone who isn't a pro), it seems structured, well planned out.
Now if only someone would step up and do an obscure RPG review thread, hmm I wonder who could do that

yeup...thats the same one.....dang!!! and he does strip her... lolz , i guess i never tried his fatal KO on mamiya...for other characters REI simply KOs them...lolz.YOU AER RIGHT ..and m sorry ...i never tried Fatal KOing Mamiya as REI
