I think FEAR 1 was better - this doesn't have enough of that punch needed to keep up with the times. It's in a different setting and everything, the weapons feel great too and its definitely scary, but still so old-school and linear. I think that's the jungle mod in the video here's it in action: But still it's in no way close to what those screens are like - those look like maps with really REALLY ultra++ quality textures and massive amounts of AA.
