I have a core 2 duo. Decent HDD and a ram. and when i was about to buy a GPU. i thought of myself playing Halo and then i researched. and i ended up with a non-gaming just CS PC and a 360.
The PS3 is not exactly hackable. its like u can store games in ur HDD.
With Xbox, you get more games. And Xbox has some xbox exclusive games(for example Halo reach which is the best game of this year). Ps3 game exclusive games are less. And the multiplatforms, the games on both consoles. Usually the games are better on Xbox even though the ps3 has a powerful machine but it at time fails to deliver.
With the Xbox u can download and burn games on a dual layered DVD at home. at most a game wud cost u around 80 rupees.
And if you plan to go live, Xbox take around 50$ dollars for a year's membership and PS Network is free. Trust me, the 50$ are worth it. Even the PS3 owners admit that Xbox's online is much better then the PS's.
And living in Pakistan, i feel the Xbox gives more options to a gamer. Like if u get ur Xbox broken, there are many people who can fix it. The PS3 is only better if you stick to ps exclusives which are less.
