    No I Want Wireless PCi cards and Router to reduce cables all round my house back in Pak. So its kinda difficult to decide right now Wifi stuff or GPU :p

    Bro my advice is that you wait for GFX card, as 5770 is a better option than 4770, wait till Nvidia release full range of GT300 series of cards then the prices of ATI 5700 or 5800 series will go down for sure, than you purchase a new Dx11 card. For now I think motherboard should be your priority.

    I also think that your current OC problem is related to the chipset you have, I mean Nforce chipsets are not known for good compatibility with Intel processors as you know Nvidia and Intel are rivals as MB manufacturers so their technologies don't always match.

    Your always welcome bro, actually there is no difference between the physical abilities of E0 and C1 stepping Q9550 processors, the C1 and E0 are the names of instruction set revisions. C1 is older while E0 is latest so E0 is more optimized for over clocking and provide better over clocking results, like you said that you managed 3.4 GHz on 1.2 vcore on your previous board while my processor requires 1.3 vcore for the same clock so it must be the difference between C1 and E0 revisions.

    Regarding Gigabyte MB, go for it you won't regret it. They are some of the best MBs for OC applications. Just make sure that you disable Load Line Calibration (LLC) in bios on Gigabyte MB once you get it. LLC is used when you do crazy overclocking like 4.0 GHz to provide stable supply of vcore but if you do minor overclocking like 3.0 GHz upto 3.4 GHz then LLC is not needed in fact enabling it on minor overclocks will decrease system stability.

    I saw your message, bro first see what is the stepping of your processor. I mean either its a E0 stepping or C1 stepping. Use CPU-Z to check that, E0 stepping quad is easier to OC while C1 gives hard time to OC. Mine is C1 and it cause some trouble before getting stable. I think your's is also a C1 stepping quad as its giving you trouble. But yes I managed to crank it upto 3.4 GHz lately and its running fine so far.

    1, Bus speed is 400 MHz (for 3.4 GHz)
    2, System Memory Multiplier is 2.0 (for my XMS2 800 MHz DDR-2)
    3, Vcore is 1.3000v to make the thing stable.

    Gigabyte boards are quiet good in terms of overclocking, before this quad I was using a E6550 C2D and easily overclocked it from 2.33 GHz to 3.00 GHz and now this Q9550 is at 3.4 GHz which is pretty good. So you can go for a Gigabyte board.

    There must be some solution of ur mobo, i mean ur mobo can oc well!
    I have seen many people overclocking on it, i'll search for the solution.

    If u have enough money go for 5850+full HD lcd.

    the mobo susman got is awesome for OC but i would suggest u to get a mobo with 2 PCI-e slots to put 9600GSO for PhysX.

    still that mobo for 10k will be a good buy.

    and yeah 5770 is ok for u as u got 19'' LCD.
    try to look for Vapor-X 5770, i think its out.

    u can find it in the market for 500sar
    so u could get a 5770 with a gigabyte board..oc your q9450 to 3.6-even 4.0GHz 24/7
    so it would be a great choice...choice is yours
