Time to start flaunting that $7.5 bn purchase. Lets see if they put dates on all those games we know are in development. Hellblade, Obsidian's first person RPG, Fable, new Forza, Starfield and and other expected announcements like a new Wolfenstein etc.

Inxile is also working on a AAA first-person RPG.

And perhaps beyond the scope of this event, Arkane is working on a new IP as well. The Coalition with Gears and another project.

whew lads, great time to be invested in MS's ecosystem.

The Coalition put out the news that they're moving development to UE5 just like 2 weeks ago. I don't think we'll see anything on a new Gears besides just a verbal announcement maybe.

Yep, they're basically giving Game Pass away for peanuts by now ... I also took advantage of that and got 3 years worth of GP using the super cheap codes from CDKeys.com

They might not even do the convert Gold to GPU thing by then.

I think they should eventually phase out Gold. GP Ultimate for online+GP and a basic tier for people who just want the games.

They're a bit expensive now but I bought both these for ~$90 when they were on sale during the Holiday period.

Also, one thing the console/games don't tell you is that some of the S|X Optimized games can also run on external drives. Not all of them are necessary to keep on the internal.

If you check any games "file info", you can check where it says "ConsoleType". If it says Gen 9, it will only work on internal. If it says Gen9Aware, it means its an enhanced game but will also work on the external. Mass Effect: Legendary, Halo MCC etc are examples of some prominent S|X optimized games that also work on external.

    170 + countries where Steam sells but PSN doesn't will lose access unless they use VPN

    You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
