Yaar can someone help me. I need to buy a new car battery. I always go with AGS, is it somehow possible to charge it at home? I did that with my UPS battery and its still going strong. However I don't think it will be a good idea to charge a car battery with a UPS inverter?

Some people suggested that batteries these days already come pre-charged? Is that true? If not then is there some charger that I can purchase to charge it myself at home? If someone bought any online, please let me know.

So this is a car thread and I need help with my car. Recently I noticed that rats feces inside my van and some chewed wires under the hood. I've installed a few traps but this definitely wasn't enough. This article says I could try some ultrasonic devices to scare them for good. Have anyone tried it? Thanks

Main ek sports car lenay ke baray main soch raha hon, likin kaya Pakistan main in ke mechanic asani se mil jay gain? Lets say Audi rs7 ya rs8 ho tou is ki tuning, maintenance or alignment etc ke liay mechanic kahan milain ge or expense kitna ho ga? I am currently thinking about moving to Jhang city.

There are a lot of good cars that you can buy in Pakistan but stay away from very high end models because the more expensive the car is, the more it is complicated and many things can go wrong with it. If you talk about maintenance, there are 2 concerns one the availability of parts and second a service that can install that part. In the later case you can find many good expert mechanics here at Pakistan plus there are tons of youtube tutorials for fixing them so no problems there. But the availability of parts is not good especially because of how much extra they are going to charge you for their profits.
You can buy E65 post 2005 bmw 7 series, and if you can import by yourself, go for Lexus, their reliability is sky high.

Also buy a car that you can enjoy here rs7 level performance can not be utilised on our roads.

Sir have you tried placing a sticky mat in the car? If not try that it is the most effective method. There are mats in the market that have highly adhesive glue on them, you can place cheese etc at the very middle and once the rat steps on it he can never leave. Tried on our car when other methods were not working.

Didn't get your point clearly but if you are saying that you have to charge the battery for the first time to become usable then it is not a problem, all battery shops have charging facility as well so even if somehow the new battery you are buying is not charged, you can always ask them to charge it for you and they will do it for free. And if you are asking about charging the battery otherwise, there should be nothing bad in charging with a ups but maybe slow charge it and don't consume it for the home backup.

Charging a car battery at home is certainly possible, but using a UPS inverter to charge a car battery is not recommended. Car batteries typically have higher voltage and capacity requirements compared to UPS batteries, and using a UPS inverter could result in insufficient charging or potential damage to the inverter.
