I guess since RDR2 is not a PS4 exclusive and Rockstar didn't do justice to the Pro version, Chandoo is not interested in updating that RDR2 has also joined the "100 GoTY award" club in his tally

RDR2 still has a slight lead on the Metacritic list.

Explains why TW3 and TLoU were able to get that many awards. Heck, even GTAV managed to get 160 despite TLoU winning 249 in the same year lol.

And the significant drop to 333 critics in 2017 tells us that there are a lot of seasonal critics who don't do GoTY features each year. Metacritic certified critics are a more accurate representation imo. [MENTION=26]Chandoo[/MENTION] take note

2013 is the only outlier here. Rest are not deviating that much from the average.

The more interesting fact is how Zelda's win ratio is not the highest, despite having the lowest total count since 2010.

Not many skip a year. Thats mostly due to sites deciding to go for individual lists, so they don't get featured in the wins.

I may be wrong, but I doubt Sony would want TLoU II out in the same year as Days Gone. Dreams and Days Gone (not including PSVR titles like Blood and Truth) will be the only first-party PS4 releases in 2019 imo.

Not even a respectable difference between 2nd and 3rd place. Someone had to collect the scrap amidst all those indie games.

I consider the DICE and GDC awards far more prestigious than the others. Will be interesting to see if it also wins at GDC.

Don't know about that year, but this year, the judging panel also had members including (but not limited to) bunch of people from each of SIE, NaughtyDog, Santa Monica, Insomniac, Guerilla Games, Ready At Dawn

*facepalm* at the bolded ones. How can the academy even allow this. Oh well, that means GDC awards are the only ones I'll hold in high esteem.
