Is the thread about PakLap or Verizon?

I bought a refurbished Dell Inspiron 7567 from PakLap in October 2017. Still works flawlessly to this date.

Buying a cellphone directly from Verizon's website won't be possible unless you're a US resident, and even if it was possible, PTA and their DIRBS nonsense would give you a hard time.

When I ordered the laptop, they had it in stock locally. It was delivered in 1 day from Karachi.

Most sites that offer Amazon / eBay ordering service are usually quite unreliable, slow and expensive. Why? Because they all use pretty much the same way of getting products.

Get a virtual address from a Freight Forwarding company, have the product of your choice delivered to that address in the US, then getting it forwarded to Pak, clearing it from customs and shipping it to you. However, they also slap on a decent profit margin for themselves on it as well, so they'll charge you a ridiculous amount for even the smallest products that you'd want to order.

For something like a laptop or phone, I wouldn't even consider Amazon or eBay because the cost associated with getting it here would be sky high.

Just a few examples, I asked for a quote (not from PakLap) for many phone cases and screen protectors from Amazon, that cost between 10 and 30 USD, and you know that this stuff is practically weightless, however they would ask for 2500-3000 rs PLUS the price of the product itself.

I wanted a Netgear switch from Amazon, it was on sale, for around 35 USD I think. The product and all the packaging with it didn't even weigh 1 whole KG, and I was quoted 22,000 Rs (excluding product price) to get it delivered here.

Highly unlikely that greedy shopkeepers would do any favours and import a phone that has no chance of making them a profit.
