This leak ties into what was reported by the French video game site JeuxVideo-Live. An image of a keychain novelty item showcasing the unannounced AC title. It was also reported that Odysseywill be a follow-up to Assassin’s Creed Origins. The site also claimed the game will be set in ancient Greece, which can also be seen from the Helmet style.

This was inevitable. They took time off to lay the basic foundation for an eventual Witcher 3 clone. Origin didn’t come close to it but it was a step in the direction. I’m guessing the rumored addition of dialogue choices is made in the same spirit. Hopefully it isnt as meaningless as it was in Horizon ZD.

The game's description has leaked from the PSN store. Does not sound like you'll be playing as Bayek again like the original leak said, or maybe he's not the 'primary' character.

Assassins Creed is a straight up WRPG now i guess.

Won't say I'm disappointed. more of Origins with expanded RPG mechanics wouldn't be too bad.

Lol. I mean they don't have to make it obvious although there's nothing wrong with taking inspiration from Witcher 3. Making a character not look like Geralt isn't that difficult. [emoji14]

Anyway, going by the screenshots, Odyssey is Origins in Greece with dialog choices.
