I just wanted to know the difference between having Matrix Gitcher, CoolRunner n etc, anyone?

like how do ppl flash there consoles to new update ---can some one explain pls --

thoughits modmonsta field here --as he will providing service for 3 months or so ---so how do u do it ..

[MENTION=25320]omarko[/MENTION] .. theres really no difference between the chips .. just the brand name that is it ..... ive tested both matrix glitcher and coolrunner ..... both provide the same boot timing and everything .. heck even the main Xilinx CPLD is the same one on both the devices ....

my xbox was at 14699 but some games were not working as they required the avatar unlock. i updated my console using the MS latest dashboard which is also 14699 and i have successfully unlocked the avatars and have had no problem. i can now run bastion which previously i was unable to play.

Also i added a capacitor to my xbox today and get almost instant glitch now. thanx pApArOACh and ModMonsta

^the update went thru fine because it was the avatars which were needed .. you cannot apply the official dashboard update .. it will disable the RGH

the new upadte ....will disable RGH ,,,rahim sbbb wahts happening here bhai ...

so how do we update bhai if a game requires it

^it will disable it if you apply the official update .. if you make a jtag image using programs and then flash it then it wont disable it ... i just did my falcon and its now at 14719

As u know we have loads of loadshedding here, So what If I'm flashing my NAND and then the electricity goes out half way through the process? WHat will happen then? Is my console gonna get bricked or something?

yes then ur console wont boot and then u will need a hardware nand flasher to flash it..or take it to a modder

yeah he should be .... normally should take an hour since the whole jtag process takes around 3 hours ...

^^No I mean If I was flashing the consle at home using Flash360 then how long would that take? Cause When I did it the last time It defnitely did not take an hour.

the actual flashing on the 360 usually takes around 30 seconds to 1 minute

The only thing I fear is that if some Noob tried this tutorial(exactly word by word) on a console with an alternate SMC configuration, he will end up with an E79 because Jtag Tool will build a freeBOOT v0.4 image with the default SMC configuration.

Hi i had rgh my falcon few months back with boot time 4-5 seconds..now it takes 30-40 attempts in morning. Then plays fine all day. What might be the problem any idea???

30-40 seconds to boot is still OK but If you're saying 30-40 you have to reset the box then maybe you should try unpludding the power cable from the back for about 30 seconds and then replug it.I mean the power cable that's attached to your 360 in the back, pull that out.

Its 30-40times to reset i unplug the power cable also. It looks like it has something to do with cold as i play for 5-10mins it boots in 4-5s on every attempt.
