    Sorry, I never really got to look at the details, had a blackout right after I started looking at the chart. I think it might still be a half decent approximation though, the relation with HoN MMRs holds true for several people I know.

    So some guy plotted known MMRs to get a fairly accurate estimate of its distribution. The 90th percentile corresponds to roughly 4600, the 50th percentile is roughly 3750 (around 1600 for you ex HoN players; I think the 90th percentile in HoN was 1850ish but I'm not sure).
