which one is better GSO or the GT, do i need some special PSU for them or a typical Chinese one work for them.

9600gt is better than a 9600gso. But also consider ATI 4670 it is also excellent card. A pg member is selling it for 6000. The thread you listed of 9600gt is not legit and the thread has been locked. Make sure that the person you are buying from has good trader score.

here is a cpu z of an offer i am getting. http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/8689/71497626.gif this guy is asking 6.8K with 9 month warranty (i guess he is asking extra). the reviews i read on net shows that 9600GT has 64 cuda cores/shaders but this gpu z shows just 48. what is this? there is another person with inno 3D 9600GT he is asking 7K with shipping (its high too) but dont have gpu z right now. @waris i have only 1GB ram right now. my processor is e4500 board is dg41rq

Hmm, Keep this in mind that you'll face alot of lag due to 1GB Ram, Upgrade it to 2GB atleast.
As for the GT, Its the crap Edition, Go for the 8800GT instead. But is your PSU enough to run it?
