doesn't seem like ptcl to me. btw do you have any sort of explanation as to why the packet first goes to worldcall then connect?

Theek tau hai ping. The only explanation for your connection first going to WC and then connect is that connect is using WC in your area as BW provider and then connect's hop (both on a local private network) and then multinet -> TW

ping was only fine for that instant its back to being shit now. damn i was getting 20ms when i did that tracert now its like 200 with 20% packet loss

pings have been fine for me since 1st june which was the date written on connect's website for it to be fixed so no issues here

Yeah, with some German, Italian VPNs you can even get as low as 170'ish :[

Guys I could desperately need some help..
Constantly geting 250 ping on SeA server on 4 mb ptcl and alot of pacetloss ..
I dont know how to tell the ptcl guys to make it better .. they dont know what dota 2 is
I live in dha 2 and we only have ptcl or DHa teleman

Change ISP

Its happening because of how Valve gets us to connect to their servers (we don't directly get connected to the servers), valve utilizes packet proxies and some of them are in Frankfurt and when one gets connected to the Frankfurt one, we get 300+ ping so yeah!

My ping is the same as before 180~. Dunno if that's because I'm on FAST or just lucky. Can't play anyways because I broke my mouse(Razer Deathadder) and all the shops are closed till the 10th. That's the last time I'm buying a Razer product. I bought a mechanical keyboard of theirs and a couple of the alphabet keys just stopped working after a few months...

Nah, that just means you're not getting connected to the frankfurt proxy which is what should happen and in some cases, which are unlikely but do happen, you're connected to frankfurt proxy and voila! 300ms+

Back from Canada, where Ive been playing at 30-40 ping! How much do you'll get here!? and what is playable PING for you? I get around 120-150 to SEA!

ptcl acting up again, getting unstable ping on eu w in dota 2, paragon and BF1, lingers around 600 for quite a while only to settle back to 180 for a few seconds in between, any news? @StrikerX

Well I understand that this is a DOTA thread but still I wanted to share my problem regarding pings in Battlefield.. They are very random, the best I get are 190 on German servers and 145 on Singapore's servers but most of the times they are as high as 280-300 which is very annoying. I have to restart the router several times to get them under 200. I think PTCL can never ever fix there sh*tty routing

P.S Zong 4G is the way to go. Get <200ms on all european servers consistently.
