Lets get done with a long overdue dead-Lahore meetup. Since almost everyone wants it to happen before Ramzan (Possible Aftari meetup in Ramzan.), the only viable option is

Sunday, 7 July.

Lets keep it a Sunday this time so that people who said that keeping it on Friday/Saturday is the reason no one showed up is ruled out.

Recently visited Jigger's upgraded setup and it's excellent. The console section is great as is the PC section. Gives Crashpad a very tough time, possibly taking the edge due to i- more PCs ii- proper air-circulation during loadshedding.


Date:7 July, 13', Sunday
Venue: Project X9 (Link Model Town. Opp Pace)
Time: 5PM onwards.
Cost per Person: Rs. 200
Two scenarios;
PCs only. 200/3 Hours.
PCs + 3D TV with a PS3/Xbox. 200/2 Hours.

We could always go for 130/140 for 2 Hours of PCs if 3 is too much (considering the PC noobs only show up, much like last time)

Plenty of food places nearby. We can all go to one place afterwards. Can be decided on the spot.

Please let me know if you'll be coming so that I can discuss the plan with Jigger accordingly.

Is Project X9 still small like before? It got really hot in that confined space last time...

I think we should go to CrashPad nonetheless, it's time to try some place new.

Cant come on 7, have an exam on 8.

Crashpad has only 8 PCs. though they are enough since only 8 of us show up at the meetup :p

We've been to Crash Pad twice, and I regularly go there. Despite being a larger place, it's much more stuffy because their ACs don't work during loadshedding and they have 2-3 fans only.

I went to PX9 yesterday, they have drastically improved their setup. It's much bigger now and the hardware is awesome too. I think each Xbox is equipped with a 40'' screen and a PS3 with 46'' 3DTV. More ACs too, from what I recall.

wtf man, this isnt fair i have a practical to take on 8th july, i really want to attend meet up this time. i will try my best to come, i live in model town it isnt far from me.

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

    tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
