Can BAFTA, DICE and GDC combine to make a 92 years history?
All the better that there is no such bias in the game industry. Foreign games win all the time :hah:

Also worth pointing out that sequels never win at GDC, BAFTA, or DICE (GoW was an exception due to it being a re-imagining of sorts). Therefore, Cyberpunk 2077 actually has a higher chance of winning there than TLoU2. So much for me having an agenda

You are too stupid and changing goals posts too often to realise the arguments make no sense. That in itself shows an agenda, not the absence of it :hah:

Yar is Necrokiller ka kuch karo. He should be stopped from posting in Playstation related threads. I have never seen a single positive comment of his in any of these threads. I dont know why is he so salty towards PS. The only thing he cares about is The Witcher 3 and Half Life: Alyx. Those are the best games of the decade for him. :gig:. Thread would be for TLOU2 and he would bring 1000 other topics into the mix. :p

Is there any news on the MP for TLOU 2 ? After the delays, I always thought we might just get MP at launch as well. Been playing the original's MP all Ramazan and man it is super addictive.

Not at launch, rumored it will be added not long after (maybe in time for the PS5 launch).

Looks like ND are making all the right moves with this game:

[h=1]The Last of Us Part II isn’t just Naughty Dog’s most ambitious game — it’s the most accessible, too[/h] A look at how the studio is trying to expand the audience for the PS4 game
According to game designer Matthew Gallant, one of the reasons the team was able to include so many features is that it was part of the design process from the beginning. “We absolutely had to plan these features early in production,” he says. “It was absolutely critical.” There were three features in particular — text-to-speech, fully remappable controls, and the high-contrast mode — that required large technical resources, and they wouldn’t have been possible without so much time. “We couldn’t have done this if we hadn’t, from the outset, said ‘This is a priority,’” he explains.

Digital Foundry Preview:

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2020-the-last-of-us-part-2-first-impressions

But what we can confidently share is that, put simply, The Last of Us Part 2 does not disappoint. From a technological standpoint, there's a clear path of progression from The Last of Us Remastered, through the still-stunning Uncharted 4 and the often overlooked Lost Legacy, right up to this latest Naughty Dog showcase.
Rendering resolution on PlayStation 4 Pro is still 1440p, backed up by the firm's clean temporal anti-aliasing solution. Performance is solid at 30fps, with few deviations, and actually improved overall compared to Uncharted 4's showing on PlayStation 4 Pro. In terms of image quality and frame-rate, we don't anticipate many complaints.
The way light interacts with the rich geometry and the high quality materials is first class, producing some beautiful but often bleak results. The sheer density is also remarkable
Water rendering and reflection quality is also excellent. In fact, you can isolate individual parts of the game's visual make-up and note their effectiveness, but it's when they all combine that even the less complex areas of the game still manage to look remarkably impressive.

The wold is much larger than any other ND game and yet they managed to improve the general performance compared to UC4.

Fantastic.

How do you guys find these targeted posts will always be a mystery to me :p

In other topic-related news. Successfully canceled my digital pre order and did a Special Edition physical order instead. Not too much over the regular price and comes with a 48 page Darkhorse art book. That's the kind of thing I can definitely see myself owning. The Yakuza 6 edition with the exclusive art was fab.
