Introduction
Reeven is one of the fame brand name indulge in manufacturing some top of the line CPU coolers and now with cooling fans they have expanded their business. Today, I am reviewing Reeven Coldwing 14 (RM1425S17B-P) Performance fans, shines with 1700 RPM while at Moderate noise. At this level of speed, fan effectively controlling the hot air specifically design to generate high performance and relatively quieter operation under load with maxed out 1700 RPM.
Reeven have special dedicated color theme which they also endorsed to their products seems promising step for long run. Coldwing 14 designed to ensure smooth airflow within the case accompanied with high Static pressure helps in blowing out hot air out of heatsink. Reeven charging the retail version coldwing 14 at price $14.48 which seems reasonable to what other yet similar specs products offering. However, we have to see what these yellow wings are offering in this price.
The special design of the newly upgraded COLDWING 14 fan not only generates superior performance, but also guarantees quiet operation without compromises. An optimized mounting hole for the standard 12cm fan also ensures a more flexible installation.
Reeven Coldwing 14 are usually comes in various performance modes ranges Silent 800 RPM, Silent 1200 RPM, Performance 1700 RPM and Silent Performance with PWM 300-1700 RPM.
Features and Design
A PWM Fan optimized to offer maximum possible airflow within the case. Featuring 1700 RPM rotational fan speed. While it can easily operate as silent worker on desire. Just you need is a controllable software or Controller device is another option. A High static pressure which enables cooler to extract maximum possible hot air out of designated region.
Reeven structure their fan very attractive and solid. Fan carrying 9 yellow blades while the frame is octagon shape with a dimension of 140 x 140 x 25mm. Such a structured design having 120mm mounting holes enables to install in 120mm case area. The frame is painted matte black, in addition, the plastic is quite thick, thick enough to avoid any bend possibility. Furthermore, The yellow color scheme have its own aesthetic, especially in a black/Yellow theme motherboard. Nevertheless, Glorious looking fans these are.
Package and The Content
Fans were shipped in complete packaging includes Box, Screws, Anti-vibration Rubber and 4 pin connector.
The build design is pretty solid. Specifically designed for easy installation. The frame is painted matte black with octagon style while the blades are turned in to Yellow color scheme.

Performance
Coldwing 14 as Heatsink Fan
In addition, I also tested this yellow wing with heatsink for overlooking the best possible static pressure advantage over stock and others. I installed Coldwing 14 on CPU cooler and run Prime 95 test for about 5 minutes to check its performance.
Note: Noctua iPPC was reviewed under different ventilated environment, so for neck to neck comparison, I later on ran Noctua NF-F12 3000 RPM Fan under Reeven Coldwing 14 cooling environment.

Final Words & Conclusion:
Price:
-
$14.48 MSRP
Pros
- Good Looking
- Reliable and stable performance
- 120mm Compatible
- Good static pressure
- Affordable price
Cons
- High Noise at 1700 RPM
From Design and appearance perspective, Coldwing 14 are aesthetic enough to take place in any gamer’s rig. They are rear but extremely effective especially in a black case. They can cater the purpose pretty well. However, every user have its own taste, you may not be fan of yellow color scheme, but won’t disappoint you either.
Performance wise, they are as good as any other high end Airflow fans. Installing on all four-five routes will gives you an equal ventilation system. Coldwing 14 is a powerful yet effective cooling fans for overclocked rigs, ran at high RPM, however, with the sacrifice of noise levels. Of course, a PWM with high RPM i: e 1650 RPM+ would produce more noise than a stock non-PWM fan. However, it depends on users. You can increase or decrease the speed according your requirement. The High performance with high Noise yet low performance at lowest noise. If a PWM fan set to automatic it will generate a much better noise performance.
We feel Reeven Coldwing 14 RM1425S17B-P is a good looking case cooling fans, featuring 1700 effective RPM at acceptable noise level. It could be one of your best case cooling combination right now if you can bear the bright color. For its affordable price, MSRP at $14.48 and equalizing performance to counterparts.
