Thanks to Cryorig for H7 CPU cooler. Packaging and the Content
I received the package in a cardboard box showing cooler face and specification on other side.
Inside the box, I found several plastic stocks containing accessories includes, back plate, long screws plastic spacer, manual, Cryorig C7 Thermal Paste and product registration card.
Cooler looks in fresh condition, QF120 1x 120mm fan comes with Cryorig H7 Cooler attached through fan clip. The extra 2 fan slips suggesting you can install another fan of your choice for better cooling. White fan blades with black bordered frame giving stunning look to be honest.
Overall the quality seems brilliant, new Hive Fin Technology makes everything easier for cooling. Those fin stack are made for incredible airflow. 3 heatpipes at bottom of the heatsink with convex Align system to ensure no interference to RAM compatibility in any case. Metal surface attached to Chip made of copper aluminum for maximum true intact. While there is a pre-installed retention x-Bar bracket spotted which specifically slotted to ensure the installation process won’t be a headache.
Test Setup & Performance
As usual we are using Dedicated System for Testing Cooling performance Cryorig H7 . We will determine the cooling performances under idle approach and under overclock clocks. For extended evaluation, we will overclock the Processor in 3 more stages and load up prime95 for heating and temperature testing.

Although it’s a small tower yet competitive. Unique Hive five build heatsink improved airflow structure of cooling while using jet fin acceleration and turbulence reduction, enhances the performance of this cooler. Cryorig focused more on Cooler’s aesthetics for attraction point of view. The top design featuring Black cap with Cryorig logo on it looking amazing while in the rig.
Some latest Air cooling solutions seems to trouble when it comes to RAMS and PCIe compatibility, due to its dimensions. However, this Beauty really didn’t put an inch trouble with either of the cases. In Fact after installation I still can see the additional space between Heatsink Fan and A1 DIMM Slot, same goes to PCIe.
As for Performance, you really can’t go wrong with H7. In Review program, i compared Cryorig with 2 of its counterparts; Noctua NH-U14S and Cooler Master V6GT both are mainstream air cooling. We tested coolers on prime 95 and ran Stress tests for about 10minutes and results are pretty decent. With C7 thermal Grease It manages to reached at 61C Maximum and 56C Minimum. On the other hand, when I overclocked the processor Intel Core i5 4670K at 4.2GHz and ran Prime 95 for analyzing temperatures at maximum load, it produces 75C maximum and 67C minimum. Noctua pretty much the best performer over it but I focused Cryorig H7 to compare with CM V6GT more and results are pretty damn good. Cryorig H7 is 5C lower or better to V6GT. Overall, Cryorig H7 performs outstanding in cooling performance, even above to my expectation. I must admit, A small Tower Heatsink pretty much solid bang for buck performer.
An attractive design, powerful performance with sleek hive fin air cooled solution selling at $34 at Amazon seems pretty reasonable deal to me. With Additional spaces around PCIe and DIMMs this could be a perfect match for 4 core processor or decent overclocks like 4.2GHz, as performance graphs shows.
