Arey bhai Series S could've had the same FSR 2 4K visuals but at the cost of performance hit.

Of course, there's no such thing as a free lunch. But this is a good first step in doing convincing 1440p to look indistinguishable from 4K. Rendering native 4K is probably more computationally expensive.

AS per DF, It improves the IQ considerably but doesn't improve performance. It actually decreases the performance in spots.

Although i was planning to get an S at first given my budget, i ended up getting a pre-owned Series X which was in immaculate condition.

Played a bit of Plague tale, BF 2042 and Psychonauts 2 but hot damn Forza Horion 5 looks absolutely AHHHMAZING !!! Plague tale requeim also looks fantastic but the 30 fps is such a let down....

Really loving the X at the moment.

Now with both a new PS and Xbox, you're all set till 2028 at the earliest lol.

And you'll notice that functionally SX is such a more well engineered machine, less noise, less disc whine/coil whine etc.

And Game Pass content will keep you occupied for a decade at least.
