What is iPhone JV :s

Hello guys,

so i have a Samsung S6 and i was thinking about upgrading to S7/Edge but after checking the market the phones are not in good condition and to get a genuine phone looked impossible to me so thought that i won't get one and after looking at S8 will go for it inshaAllah.

But for the meantime i need a phone in 30k so i thought why shouldn't i get the iPhone 6s so i thought i will get it after checking the market there are phones available with JV thing,

so i want to know more about it what is this JV and should one buy the phones or only Factory unlocked are way to go ? need some information on this

JV iPhones are a pain in the ass when it comes to getting data to work sometimes and some of them are software dependent, so if you upgrade to iOS 10.3.2, it's possible that the JV SIM stops working and the phone remains locked then.

I'd spend a few extra thousand and get a factory unlocked one.

The JV ones cause too much of a headache.

i guess jv iphones are locked iphones which u need to JB inorder to work in ur country.

Faraz jv phones are basically carrier locked phones like you bought a phone from At&t US with a package plan of for 2 years in that case At&t operators locks iphone carrier until and unless the lease of iphone isn't completed so people bring those locked phones for sell due to so many reasons.
Jv or gevey is simply a carrier hack chip which bypasses carrier lock and phone works like factory unlock as it difficult and uneasy for everyone to program iphone software. Jv chips were hectic before like every software update you have to buy a new one, or signal drop issues, jailbreak the iphone, no 3g 4g etc but these days Auto jv chip has been released which works flawless on all iphones and every carrier like factory unlock each and every feature of iphone works except the sim tool which can be used by *# tools.
I have currently installed jv in my sister's current iphone 5c US sprint locked it wasn't working before and she have the phone for like 4 years already tried so many jv's but new JV (ALI SIM MINI 7) is very good.
