TweakTown seemed to have gotten their hands on the first Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 review samples and hence keeping in mind of the NDA have came up with a preview of the graphics card in detail with the full fledged review coming within the next 5 days.Nvidia tends to be extremely tight lipped on sending out review samples from their R and D department with a small note by the green team sent to reviewers saying not to mention where the card came from.That’s a standard procedure in an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) and hence with this card having too many manufacturer markings, TweakTown refused to upload any images of how the card may seem at all.But just that you should know, they DO NOT COME UNDER NDA FROM NVIDIA as they haven’t signed any agreement with them and maintaining NDA followings just out of courtesy.​

Well AMD got pwned badly this time around

Already the GTX680 dethroned HD7970 now this GTX670 is also outperforming it :lol:

And the bets part is that this is an engineering sample not the retail chip with overclocking it will pawn the 7970. 670 here I come =D

The same way 4 x 7950s can beat 4 x 7970 ? =P This is true aswell.
Yes GTX 680 lacks VRAM but the 4Gb version will be better on higher resolutions.

Higher resolutions like 5670X1080 (Triple Monitor Setups) require Memory in the 3GB Range

GTX680 Graphics Processing wise beats HD7970 and outclasses the HD7950 completely but it runs out of VRAM at Triple Monitor Resolutions which hampers performance greatly

Yeah got it its a Sample but even first from release good......

Yea they always do get the stock versions, but I'm not too sure about the OC'ed versions as they usually come out after a while or so, after the release date.

Guys also don't forget that although AMD might be slower than their Nvidia counterparts but Nvidia is also 4 month late in their releases.

This might not be the case with 670. All compnies might have custom version right on the first day and there might be no reference version.

This is different but definitely in a positive way. Many people anyways wait and end up buying the custom versions rather than the reference ones. Lets see what happens.

HD 7950's Reference and Custom models were released simultaneously at launch day.
