For quite some time I was looking for wireless headphones. I looked around and my eyes got stuck on this piece. The price difference between getting it imported and buying locally wasn’t much so I went to buy locally. It came with 1 year Bose Pak official warranty supplied by blue fish audio private limited who are supposedly the authorized dealers of Bose in Pak.

Coming to the product, the look is great and fit is pretty snug. Ear cups are quite comfortable, just like my Sony MDR 1A. It came in nice and tidy packaging. Accessories included bag, charging cable, airplane adapter and audio wire.

It has BT and NFC connectivity along with Acoustic Noise Cancelling (whatever that means). Playback time as per Bose stats is 20 hours. The downside is that battery isn't user-replaceable. But if the battery is completely down, you can still use it with the audio wire supplied with it although noise cancellation won’t work. Noise cancellation is really nice. Although I haven’t been able to test it thoroughly but still my experience has been great so far.

The Bose Connect app is one great app though. Once you pair all your devices, you can choose which device to connect to right from within the app. You can adjust volume through it and it displays what music you are playing along with some basic controls.

Sound is really nice. I’m no audiophile so I can’t comment on the technicalities but I like what I listen on it. I haven’t compared it with Sony yet. But I find it of almost same awesome quality.

Got my hands on it yesterday. Enjoy the pix.

Congrats on the purchase. Just curious, why didn't you go with the version 2 that came out this year?

Congratz buddy. Love the simple non flashy design. Can you share the price and info about the dealer, where can we visit them, if they are based in Lahore, do they have stores in other cities as well?

Thanks. I didn't go for Series II because the only feature it has in addition to Series I's features is dedicated Google Assist button. This is something I never use. Besides this, they are same in all respects. Although, you can re-program the Assist button to some other feature but the Bose Connect app does everything pretty well and you don't need to press any buttons on the headphones.

Thanks. Retail price in Pak with official warranty is Rs. 50k. I got it for 46k.
Bluefish Audio Private Limited are official dealers of Bose in Pakistan. They also provide one year warranty. I know of two stores in Lahore. One in Kingson Mall, Main Boulevard and second one in Packages Mall, DHA.
See this link. This one details the official stores in Pak. Pakistan

Nice Purchase! Considering that you have spent some time with them, how do the overall comfort and sound compare to Sony's MDR?
