My Travel Trip to Turkey. Stayed in heart of Istanbul ( Sirkeci/Levent ) and then Explored SultanAhmet ( Blue Mosque , Tokapi Palace - Dolmabache Palace - Prince Islands - Aya Sofia - Cappadocia - Izmir - Aksaray - Uchisar )

Turish Lira : 30.50 PKR

Food : Excellent - Do try the Kunafee and Donor, Nargile ( Sheesha - 30 TL ) and the Pomengrate drink ( Anar sayu ) - Apple tea frm Hafiz Mustafa and so on

Options to get money : I used my Atm Faysal bank and upto 1000 TL Official rate was charged at 29.66 + 890 Rps swift fee charges making it to 30.74 Rps to a TL. In emergencies you can always count on your Debit card for instant money if you cannot find any current.


Expense with food and hoteling per person : USD$ 1250 including ticket and visa.
Cell phone has a policy as per Turkish rule, you need to pay 120 TL for registering an imported phone into " Turkey " . Other wise your phone IMEI will be blocked for an year

Turkey is an amazing destination. I think the phone rule has a stipulated period, if you stay more than a week or two. Am i right? Did yoy register at the airport or anywhere else?

I stayed on student VISA in 2016 for around 1.5 months. Back then, I did not have any issues. However, my sim was issued on my Passport.
