CD Project Red's Marcin Iwinski, who co-founded the company, will step down as co-CEO
RT mode is 30fps only on consoles, even though FSR is supported. No RT for Series S.
New Ultra+ settings for PC only.
Rest of the QoL changes are more likely to interest console players as they've been all available through mods on PC before.

Console Performance mode will be near Ultra settings and benefit from all the enhancements bar RT. Nice.
The RT doesn't look like a transformative change like Metro EE's was, so I think console folks will be better off with the enhanced performance mode instead.

Its a 7 years old game and they're pushing beyond Ultra with Ultra+ on PC and HairWorks is still missing on consoles. Besides, not much of "next gen" without RT and that is stuck at 30fps. Playing "near" PC version from 7 years ago is big oooof. RDNA2 done fucked up.

Nice comparison. Lighting improvements are nice. Biggest boost to image quality will be DLSS since the game had a pretty basic TAA implementation back then.

Exodus was made with ray tracing in mind and yet the console versions are faaaaar from the Extreme graphic preset on PC. Its not like 4A Games incorporated it in 2033 or Last Light, which would be an equivalent comparison.I guess not every Euro block developer can be a 4A games
Alex from DF seems pretty sure there is more to the upgrade than has been revealed so far, atleast for PC.

I dont think games have looked any better since 2019 onwards and they are performing worse and worse. Game developers have really dropped the ball.

So while Playing Control, I found a journal which said that a bathroom is missing in Islamabad Beurue of Control. With Alan Wake and Control seems to be connected worlds. Even our city is in the universe as well. No wonder those Trail 5 and Trail 6 are haunted.

I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.faraany3k said:
