upstream rate is usually messed up from backend. He is on AnnexM EU-60 submode

I know. I hate when PTCL does this half assed shit. They've just enabled AnnexM but not updated his line profile.
And they probably won't remember to unless he reminds them.

Whats AnnexM is it any mode of Vdsl, i just visited my exchange they said there is nothing like Vdsl here what to do, though im on fibre backed ONU ?

Annex M is a mode used with ADSL connections to increase the upstream rate.

It has nothing to do with VDSL.

The pings are all messed up but EU servers are working great. Playing Public on BO3 EU servers at 180 ping. Asia not working fine.

Also are they installing some kind of new wires? Saw PTCL truck loading red color lines and installing around the roads near Gulberg area.

Message PTCLCares on Twitter to get your line enrolled in the beta test for Annex M, they will contact you, once they have completed the line rate upgrade from the exchange, your modem will re-sync with a higher upstream rate.

Weird stuff indeed, my SEA ping has spiked 250-320 while EU west is now around 190 (It was always around 210 anyway). Asked friend, same thing.

it's a temporary issue out of Pakistan which is beyond PTCL control and in Singapore side. However, I heard that PTCL is working on a way around it

and will be better soon

UPDATE:
Due to outage of SMW-4 East, latency issues might be faced like towards Singaore etc. These are temporary and will be resolved completely expected within a week.

well i dont know what u guys are talking about, because im on ptcl too and im getting around 100ms on asia 1 and 2 both, with eu around 180 ms. Also in 170ms sometimes. Ptcl has gotten great for me in the past week.

Thanks to the efforts of [MENTION=11094]StrikerX[/MENTION]


Routing to SGP-1 and SGP-2 are back to normal.
Pings are down to 90 ms for me on both.

FYI I'm on the 39.40.x.x pool.

AFAIK, this was fixed last night at around 11 PM.
