3 hours into the game and I feel that Skyward Sword charm is still fresh. The only gripe at the moment is the awful camera control. Thats the only thing that has not aged well for this game. But i do think that i might get used to it after a little while. Convoluted control schemes are endemic to Zelda games. BOTW's only issue for me was its confusing controls that took a lot of time getting used to.

The motion controls in the game really give you a good sense of being ‘one’ with the game. It takes some getting used to but really fun to play with.

I am actually used to play all games in the handheld mode but you are right the game did make some great use of motion controllers even on the WII with the motion plus accessory. I'll give it a try with the joycons detached.

The moment of taking out the goddess sword and then when to use the full light power, it really gave a good sense of playing an immersive game. So far my favourite moment in it.

It's translating the Wii's graphics APIs to that of the Switch. Emulating a Wii game has less hurdles compared to native Switch games. And lmao @ only testing the opening area

No emulator is perfect. There are shader cache related stutters even in BOTW running on CEMU (Wii U Emulator) today whenever assets with shaders that can't be cached asynchronously are loaded.

Damn!!!! Those Joycons look freaking amazing.

I am 15 hours in the game and really enjoying my time with it. I wish i could play more of it in docked mode since the motion controls are very intuitive but it is a very enjoyable experience nonetheless. After playing this i wish i could have played Twilight princess on the switch too since i never completed it on the WII. Heck i would even be down to give a Wind waker a try too since i didnt particularly enjoyed it back when it came out.

Can anybody explain me what's the hype xDDDDDDDD Nintendo decides a decade later to release an HD version while people played the shit out of this on the dolphin with HD texture pack in 4k. People are paying 60$ for this, lmao. Though seeing it's Nintendo fans, it isn't that surprising
