Tekken 8 announcement trailer (PC/Series/PS5)

This trailer was actually taken directly from a certain part in the current work-in-progress Tekken 8’s story mode, played on PlayStation 5. In other words, all the character models, backgrounds, and effects are the same ones that are used in-game. Although this was captured from the story mode, it is not a pre-rendered movie made for the trailer but rather real-time rendered footage, running at 60 frames per second, similar to how you would experience the game in versus battle modes.

Any PC player that wants to play Tekken 8 competitively will need to "downgrade" to a PS5 for tournaments  🤜
PC players with access to the best version can simulate any environment they want without the need to buy a console. Console players on the hand have to invest in a monitor and wired game peripherals (RIP dooooalSense) 🤣

Wanted to discuss prices.

Its seems like Tekken 8 is not going to have adjusted prices for Pakistan and PKR. I was hoping they would do that after Pakistan's publicity in the Tekken 7 seasons.

Steam
Base version is $70 ~ 20000 PKR
Deluxe version (includes 4 season 1 chars - Eddie XD) is $100 ~ 28000 PKR

Really want to play this but its hard to justify spending 20000 for a video game. What are other gamers thoughts on this?

Steam Deck running a premium UE5, current-gen only fighting game. Punching well above its weight:
I've played all versions, but which one's best? My preference ended up being the PC version due to broader arcade stick support, the ability to play beautifully on Steam Deck (in HDR!) and the inclusion of features such as motion blur, which - strangely - is not even an option on the consoles.
Input latency comparison:
I spoke to the authority on input lag, Nigel Woodall, and based on his innovative testing method, PlayStation and Xbox Series versions of the game essentially respond in around 58ms, while PC on a VRR screen with v-sync disabled reduces still further to circa 42ms.

The level of details in the game is insane. Just look at the streets. The visuals are much better than SF6.

And the intro is one of the best I've seen in a game. Gem 💎 of a fighting game from Bamdai Namco.

The controls have a mode similar to Modern in SF6. I was able to execute combos without much practice. I believe we will see new players acing tournaments in Tekken 8. Won every game so far in arcade.

The only thing SF6 has better is fight info sequence. The realistic look of Tekken looks way better than the cartoonish visuals of SF6.
