extremely interested going to canada in upcomming months , either to complete my rest of ACCA there or for masters.......
can any one tell me about any reliable education consultant etc in lahore who especially deals for canada?

well like blasty said, u dont need any consultants, they will just rip u off, find a forum/group that has canadian students(i found a very big yahoo group and a fb group for german uni students), find canadian unis that matches your interests/programs etc. find out their requirements/selection criteria, mail them your academic documents etc.

in any case, its not a couple of months job, u wont get admission during the current ongoing semester, and in some big unis u have to apply an year before. its a full time job and ull have to be very dedicated.

hellow guyz i asked a question on this post that if i stdy like one year in karach or apply for transfer in foreign university is that possible that i can skip my 1 year , i received the positive reply from one of the guy ; but i asked the same question to navitas administration they said no u cant skip 1 year or transfer that i have to start from beginning ? can any body confirm ?

^ transfer admissions are pretty tricky, some universities don't even allow it. And even if they do, they'll probably make you repeat one semester or a bunch of courses plus there's no chance of getting a scholarship or financial aid.

Hey Everyone,

I have a few of questions regarding Australia. I am trying to come to Australia and am confused in selecting Brisbane or Melbourne. I have a friend in Brisbane which is a plus on finding a job but on the other hand Melbourne has more Job opportunities and Vibrant environment. So, What do you guys think?

Now come the hardcore questions.

1. Would it be possible to pay your university tuition fee while doing part time work?
2. What about after completing your studies? Would you be able to get a work permit and immigration (which is my main target)?
3. I want to settle in Australia with my family.
4. How much money should I bring with me as a first timer?
5. I am thinking of paying complete tuition fee for 1 year would it be possible to make enough money for the next year? Or I can pay the 1st semester fee for now and make money for the next semester while I am there.

I am a little confused as I have little money saved up but I want to invest where I know I would get my goal which is immigration.

Any brother helping me out in this would be appreciated. Also if some brother thinks I can achieve my target in Canada then do let me know.

You should open a new thread "PG foreign members help desk for new arrivals" and sticky it

and then list any people who are willing to have themselves as contacts as new arrivals....

ive had several medical college juniors and friends come to Chicago that I greatly enjoyed helping out... not that they were not capable themselves but its just much easier having a guide to help facilitate things.

anyone coming to Chicago for any reason from PG I would gladly help out...

I am married and have responsibilities but I wouldnt mind chilling with some PG Homies

Brisbane has more opportunities than Melbourne. Melbourne is saturated now and Employers are exploiting on that.

Now come the hardcore questions.

1. Would it be possible to pay your university tuition fee while doing part time work? Hah! NO! Because Uni fees is fucking expensive here. Only if you're in WA, you can pay your fees for the cheapest uni.
2. What about after completing your studies? Would you be able to get a work permit and immigration (which is my main target)? You'll get a 2 years work permit but after that your chances of getting a PR is really really thin depanding which course you are doing. Most of the Courses are not in the SOL and the courses which are in the list, its really really hard to get a PR.
3. I want to settle in Australia with my family. Family is only considered as wife and children. Parents can only come on visit visa for max 3 months.
4. How much money should I bring with me as a first timer? $2000-$3000
5. I am thinking of paying complete tuition fee for 1 year would it be possible to make enough money for the next year? Or I can pay the 1st semester fee for now and make money for the next semester while I am there. Paying 1 year upfront is the best option as uni might give a discount and you'll have enough time to save money for next semester.

Spot on answer except for the PR thing. I don't know which course you're planning to do but I'm doing my Master's in petroleum engineering from UNSW and I know a bunch of Pakistanis who got there PR after doing this course. As far as money is concerned, I highly doubt that it's possible to come up with your tuition money by working.

there is no comparison between England and Malaysia.

as for england you need to show 1st year tuition fee + living expenses in your bankstatement.

Malaysians only promote local students to work.

1)I think around 3 to 4 lacks
2)Ok
3)I did not apply in pakistan because first i went to Malaysia by visit visa than i changed to student visa but u cannot do that and they have restriction.
4)NO any student in Malaysia except Master are not allowed to part time or any type of work.
5)Living depends on u but Standard student living cost is RM1000 to RM1200.
6)The degree is based on England and UK collages and yes the living cost is much cheaper but they will provide the same degree which UK provides.

is it tough to find part time job there?

Same degree as UK means there is no difference whether we study in UK or malaysia...right?
