[h=1]Street Fighter 5’s next trio of characters revealed[/h]

E. Honda, Poison, and Lucia are coming to Capcom’s flagship fighting game

New characters are coming to Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition next week, according to a video that was posted to Steam (and quickly taken down) on Wednesday, seemingly ahead of a planned reveal at this week’s Evo fighting game tournament. Capcom later confirmed the leak with an official reveal. The video confirms two returning fighters, E. Honda and Poison, and a newcomer, Lucia.
All three characters will be available for Street Fighter 5 on Sunday, Aug. 4. That’s the final day of Evo 2019, and the day of the Street Fighter 5 grand finals. A “summer 2019 character bundle” featuring those characters will be released on Monday, Aug. 5.
E. Honda first appeared in the series in Street Fighter 2: The World Warriors. His Street Fighter 5 incarnation looks faithful to his original appearance, and his two V-Trigger moves, Tajikarao and Onigawara, appear to buff his grapple and flying head butt moves, respectively. Honda’s bath house stage from Street Fighter 2 is also coming to Street Fighter 5 as DLC.
Joining Honda are Poison and Lucia, both of whom hail from Final Fight. Poison appeared in the original Final Fight as an enemy, and she’s been a playable character in Ultra Street Fighter 4 and Street Fighter X Tekken (and, uh, Final Fight Revenge). Lucia was a playable character in Super NES beat ’em up Final Fight 3, and in Street Fighter 5, she’s a member of the Metro City Police Department. Her V-Triggers, Weapon Fury and Burning Fight, power her up with nightstick- and fire-based attacks, respectively.
The trailer for E. Honda, Lucia, and Poison also reveals their suite of costumes coming toStreet Fighter 5, which you can check out below.

Street Fighter 5’s most recent edition was
the fighter Kage, back in December. Capcom announced late last year that it wouldn’t offer a traditional season pass for characters released in 2019, as it had done in previous years.

[h=1]Seth is coming to Street Fighter 5 in a new female form[/h]
Seth returns with some long, silky hair

Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition’s latest add-on to its character roster is Seth, the silvery boss from Street Fighter 4, but in a new form.
After being defeated in Street Fighter 4, Seth’s intelligence lived, moving on to a new vessel, thus becoming female. Seth will still be a copycat fighter, mimicking the moves of other characters in the game, and they still have the their source of power in their belly.
Seth’s new body resembles a taller version of Juri Han, another character who debuted in Street Fighter 4. They both use the power of the Tanden Engine in order to fight, with Seth using it to mimic his opponents. Juri’s version of the Tanden Engine is a smaller version, called the Feng Shui Engine and is a replacement for her left eye.
Seth is the 40th character on the roster, joining Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition when it drops on Feb. 14, 2020 for $29.99. Street Fighter 5 players who want to upgrade to the Champion Edition can do so for $24.99.

FIVE!

Street Fighter 5, which was released in 2016, will get a fifth and final season that will add five more fighters to the game. Get it? Five!
Capcom teased the future of Street Fighter 5 in a blog post published Wednesday. Details are still slim, with more updates on the new content coming to Street Fighter 5 expected “this summer.”
“Due to the positive reception to Season 4 and Champion Edition, we are planning to do a final Season ‘V,’ which will add ‘V’ more fighters to the roster,” Capcom said. “Three new stages are also being planned.”

One possible location for Capcom’s Street Fighter 5 season 5 reveal is Evo Online, which will take place over five weekends in July. Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition is included as part of the tournament’s main competition.
Street Fighter 5 got an update, Champion Edition, on Feb. 14. Capcom called it “the most robust version” of Street Fighter 5. All existing content from the game, including its ArcadeEdition, was included in Champion Edition, alongside a whole bunch of new stuff. A new fighter, Gill, was added with the update.
Street Fighter 5 is available on PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
