The sales are there ofcourse, different types. But the pros of buying physical is ofcourse you get it for cheap even and then resell it to recover the cost, whereas on digital you'll be locked from doing the same.

So when you buy a physical copy and install, it doesnt register to a single PSN account and can be sold again multiple times to be used on multiple PSN accounts?

No, disc games don't imprint a permanent license on your profile, you need to have the disc in tray for that license to be valid. It's not like digital where it creates a permanent license on your profile.

MS wanted to do something like this at the start of the xbox one generation, that physical copies would require activation and be tied to a specific account, they wanted to eliminate the used game market. But the backlash was so severe that they abandoned it.

Yes, this is the same method used on XBO for the 360 backwards compatibility. If you have the disc in the tray, it will not just run the game off the disc, it will still download an entire new BC compatible version of the game, you just need the disc in the tray at all times for verification.

lol yeah 10W isn't much. I'm more interested in knowing whether it has better thermals and lower fan noise as a result of there being no disc drive.
