Hi,

I want to setupmulti-color accent lighting for my new gaming setup something like this:

I know it can be done using RGB LED strips but I am unable to find them:

anyone have any idea about getting such kit in karachi? or perhaps a professional installation service? (as I don't get much time and I am a noob with such work)

yes this kit is available here, i'll ask tomorrow and let you know, but with this kit the color will not change automatically with the colors on-screen .And the leds on this kit will not be individually addressable, meaning the all the led's will change their color at the same time. Most ambilight setups use individually addressable leds so that if one part of the screen is another color, then the leds light up in another color aswell. If you are connecting it to a computer then it is relatively easier to make a setup which reflects the colors on the screen.

don't know about professional installation of such systems, most AV shops wouldn't even know about this. this is more of a DIY project everywhere.

I think you are talking about cyborg gaming lights aka Madcatz ambx gaming lights, but I don't want such function i-e change of colors in accordance with the display, I want just simple remote controlled RGBW kit..please let me know if these are available here..I found one in OLX lahore but the seller didn't response.

I was talking about something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HK8IQF8XRPc

Well I asked for the RGB light that you want from the picture, it's available for just 2k, for the strip 5 meter length and infrared sensor and remote. Power supply has to be bought separately, price depending on the wattage you want.
