Holy hell it looks horrible next to the PC version! Was this even 1080p on PS5? The PC version upscaled from 900p even looks better then the supposed 1080p image on PS5
It was native 1080p, temporal reconstructed to 1440p, then checkerboarded to 4K. Yeah, two levels of inferior upscalers = terrible image quality.

Native resolution rendering and DLSS deliver a massive detail upgrade compared to PS5, even on the same settings but even DLSS at 1440p in balanced mode offers appreciably more detail than the console rendition of the game.
1440p Balanced would be 835p and even THAT is superior to PS5's output :ROFLMAO:

Agreed. Trying to aim with a controller is frustrating indeed.

Sony/XBOX should introduce keyboard/mouse for games similar to PC.

Meanwhile, I have ordered these for my PS3/PS5 controllers. I will leave a review here if these really help.

Pro gamers on Reddit and other forums recommend a shorter grip (6mm) for the left analog stick, and
a higher grip (13 mm) for the right analog stick for FPS games. The combination they say will improve movement and aim precision for shoot'em up games.

These may look nice, but they will barely make a difference due to the horrendous deadzones that comes with the old fashioned (honestly ancient tech) found in ps5/series controller sticks. Hal sensor sticks have been available, and are being used in the PC hardware space for quite some time now. It's pathetic these cheapskates are still sticking with 30 year old thumb stick tech just to save a few pennies. Atleast Valve is trying to improve things in the controller space by introducing touchpads/back buttons/system wide remappable buttons/ easily replaceable sticks

You are right.

The precision due to K/M setup results in a much more enjoyable experience in PC gaming.
I hope consoles introduce such a setup. Otherwise, I may stick to a gaming PC setup and skip the next generation console in the future. Valve keymapping may result in some control, but nothing beats the aiming precision of a mouse.

At the moment, trying to kill baddies in Uncharted 1/2/3 on my PS3 with a controller feels frustrating to say the least. In contrast, aiming bad guys in Uncharted 4 on my PC with the K/M setup is a much smoother and enjoyable experience.

I have ordered the controller grip from Daraz. I will update my experience here in a few days to see if they do make a difference in aiming precision, as gamers on Reddit are claiming.

There's also traversal stutter too - nothing new to Returnal veterans, as this is in the PS5 version to this day.
There's also configurability in contrast that offers PC users the chance to 'tune out' the more grey-ish look of the PS5 game.
even DLSS at 1440p in balanced mode offers appreciably more detail than the console rendition of the game.
Traversal stuttering, worse image quality than 835p, and washed out blacks....one day PS5 vets, one day you'll get definitive versions of your own "exclusives" lol

Ok, so first ever native PS5 app comes to PC!

And it looks great actually, native 4k no dlss, with RT, all settings set to Epic, on a 4090 it goes to 90 fps, easy!

Traversal stutters arent that bad, they should be ignored imo, overall a fantastic port!

Also, interesting to see the cpu utilization, it mostly uses only 3 to 4 performance cores on the 13k intel chip, not heavy on the cpu at all!

Awesome.

P.S, PC will always have the definitive versions of atleast the PS games, sony made sure if that when they decided to buy Nixxes! :p

I just installed the controller grips on my PS3 and PC (XBOX360) controllers. I played Uncharted 4 on PC using the controller with grips, and I have to say that the aiming precision increased by up to 80 percent using the setup.

I tried aiming the small bulbs in UC4 and the cursor easily landed on the spot. I didn't experience any dead zone with the grips.

The pro gamers on Reddit were right! The grips do significantly improve the aiming and thereby increase the fun in shot'em up games. Although, they still can't match the precision of a K/M setup.

Oh man, Six Axis/DS 3!! Loved that controller! I could play UC on crushing back in the PS3 days with it!

I have downloaded Metro Exodus on the PS5 & straight away I am struggling! =/

Also, the game doesn't feel right for some reason, feels more like an indie game!

Will try something else.

I didn't get the complaints about Metro's shooting mechanics until I tried it with a controller. It feels great on PC 🤷‍♂️

As for Returnal, the structure of the game isn't clicking with me. This wouldve been so much better as a Doom style campaign.
