It's really weird that its being sold as a separate SKU in the first place. Never had this issue any time i've bought steel books before.

Ok one thing I don't like that Capcom has done.

There is an 80 page Baker Report file in the main menu that is a bridge between RE7 and Re8, apparently it is not in the base version of the game, only Deluxe and above.

Not sure why they locked such crucial story information behind an extra pay wall vesion.

Yes, PS5/SX version has a pretty decent RT implementation and run at 4K/60.

Pro runs at 1080p/60 and a very jittery 4K mode.

The game plain looks and runs better on next gen.

Finished!

Took 11 hours on standard diff.

Game puts the menu overlay when I try to take cutscene screenshots, annoying!

Anyway, Game is good. Very RE 4 like.

I won't say much, y'all need to experience this yourselves, I will say this though, there is a lot of action in the later part of the game but unlike RE 6 it is fun, very fun.

Lots n lots of variety in gameplay & environments. Puzzles, exploration, crafting, it's all there.

Love the first person mode in this one, I feel this game wouldn't be as awesome in the TP perspective.

Graphics look awesome, the cutscenes & detailed character models all look awesome in HDR.

Yeah, I figured out the caliberation for HDR, it looks fantastic. Once you go HDR, can't even look at SDR TBH!

Also, don't listen to Greg miller, that fat sack of taters lol. This is not dark souls, if he or anyone else wants difficult boss fights, there are other games just for that. They aren't as memorable as one would like them to be but certainly can't skip this game just for that.

Overall, it's right up there with the best of RE games!

Oof, Series S doesn't even hit 60 with RT on.

Anyone with Series S is just better off turning RT off.

Series X and PS5 are generally very good for 4K + RT, something no other console game does. Miles Morales does 1440p/60 with RT even.

Series X is also well within VRR parameters for almost every VRR capable display, Sony really need to get that feature added ASAP.

Agh Capcom ... missed fucking opportunity.

The deluxe version has a great art gallery and a special report as unlockables in the game ..... these would have been 100x more valuable if they packed them in physically like TLoU 2's artbook.

    I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.
