ptcl recent ping issue

I used to get like 180ms ping on European servers on fortnite and whenever I got over 300 I just kept restarting the router until it went back to 180ms but now the ping stays at 260ms no matter how much I restart also I have noticed that the ping to Asian servers has reduced but that doesn't help as its still more then 240ms.
I just wanted to know if anyone else is having this issue and if their is a way to fix it

I used to get 150-180 on PTCL EU servers. Now i get 200 on Asia and 250+ on EU. BTW where do you live ??

My ping has been fixed, Asia has went to around 400 (not that I really care) but EU has went back to 160-180

mine is fixed 140-150 eu rawalpindi
one thing i dont get in bf4 eu servers i get 140-150 but in bf1 i get 200-220 what the reason behind that

Did it get fixed automatically or did you ask for something specific? I've called ptcl over 100 times in the past 10 days and all they do is pass a reminder to the exchange. On guy from ptcl asked me to run a ping test of Epic Games | Home from the command prompt. The results showed 100% packet loss and he came to the conclusion that the issue is from their server end.

That guy was an idiot.

The server's aren't hosted on epicgames.com and most websites block pings so you'd see 100% packet loss.

Same is happening with me. I have static ip in the 39 IP Pool. if you dont have static, check your IP, and check ping on matchmaking ping checker for csgo, and then restart till you get an IP from a different pool, like 182 or 119. Hopefully this will fix it for you!

use outfox and set its server to St,Ghislain,BE and EU ingame . i used this software to get 160 pings when my pings were high. now pings are back to normal so not using it anymore

My ping randomly went back to normal but now its screwed again....and guess what this time I'm getting 330 ping on Europe I'm gonna restart my router like 10 times and check the latency every time to see if it fixes it.

This should not be happening. Restarting the router again and again just to get an IP with good routing and you lose that IP after shitty PTCL internet disconnects can be a pain in the arse. PTCL needs to step their f***ing game up. Back in Saudi Arabia i had a DSL connection from STC which was flawless with zero down time or interruptions and i did not have static IP and i used to get new IPs every few days but all IPs had perfect routing to international servers. Never had to restart the damn thing because of routing issue. Screw PTCL.

Just google "my IP" and see what your IP starts with...if its lagging with the starting of IP 39...keep restarting till you get 119....if it lags there...restart till you get 182.

Basically thats the only solution that I found. Another that works is, using a VPN, something like HotSpot Shield Elite drops my latency right back to normal no matter what IP i have. But I dont want to use that for gaming incase I get banned for 3rd party apps being used to play.

Hey guys.

I also got a ping increase on EU server, it used to be around 170ms but I've been getting around 200,210 ms for a week or so.

A friend of mine works at PTCL HQ so I asked him about the issue. He told me there's a network transformation project going on to replace old DCs with new MSAGs (I also don't know what that means ) and migration of customers is also going on to this new Multi service Access gateway. But it'll be completed in a week or so.

Some PTCL employees agree to do this while others will ask you to cancel static ip and order again which is stupid because these greedy scamming pricks told me that i will get an IP of my choice and assigned me a Static ip without even asking me from which IP pool should they assign the IP. I later on cancelled my Static ip knowing these greedy pricks will keep on scamming me.

Same shit happened to me, i was sceptical about static ip because i knew they would somehow fuck something else up and they did. I asked if I could have an IP of my own choice and they said yes but didn't ask me afterwards and gave me a shit IP. When I asked them to change it they asked me to cancel and reactivate static ip. I just got it cancelled today but I will not reactivate it
