It's not a viable option for me as I'm on console. I've checked the method of getting VPN on console and it's through sharing internet from your computer to your PS4 through wifi hotspot. Whatever I'll make up for in ping, I'll lose by playing on wifi rather than LAN.
Playing on wifi is not that bad, your ping might increase by 4-7ms on wifi but it will not be as bad as 200ms+ that you are currently getting. If its possible for you then its worth giving a shot because that is the only option you have right now. PTCL won't do crap to fix anything related to latency issues. I also once argued with a PTCL rep and brought up a valid point about how my friends on other providers (TW, fiberlink, stormfiber) were getting great pings to Rainbow 6 SEA servers while I was getting 200+ and they simply replied, "Sorry sir hum kuch nhi kr sakty huamin ping/routing ki baray mai kuch nhi pata ham aapki complaint close kr rhay hain", after this I ended up closing my PTCL connection because this bs was going on for a long time and all they do is refresh ports like that's gonna do crap in fixing the latency issue.
But why should I pay for a VPN when I'm already paying a lot for the internet itself, if I had another ISP I wouldn't have to spend anything on top of whatever I was paying for my package. It's unfair that we have to pay for PTCL's incompetence. Also, using wifi shows only slight increase in ping but it fluctuates in game a lot, also sharing internet through hotspot is way worse.
There is no other option left then. Just hope that PTCL fixes their crap or some other ISP makes it into your area. I was stuck with PTCL for like 2.5 years and had to deal with their crappy service every day since I moved here from KSA but luckily SF finally made it here.
Any updates on this matter? I play COD MW, FORTNITE and Apex and all of them connect over 150ms latency
Middle east in fortbite has jumped from 55 to unstable 150
Apex europe jumped from 130 to 301 but singapore is down to an unstable 150
COD is only connecting on 174 or more latency in europe
I switched to StormFiber about a month ago due to high ping issues with PTCL and I reconnected my PTCL internet a few days back just to find out that I was getting good pings again and I was on the same 39.45 pool. Its all about luck, they don't have the capacity to put everyone on the optimal routes and so some people get good ping times while others suffer with high pings.

U r right, ive traced route and found issue with PTCL routing, now the main problem is that PTCL dnt knw and dnt care abt routing thing.... so 2 option either deal with it as it or move to transworld cables
