Ptcl fast path makes no difference when it comes to ping?

so i recently upgraded to 8mb vdsl and i am getting 21 ms on speedtest so i called 1218 and asked them to activate ptcl fastpath and then i received a call from ptcl stating that fast path has been activated but when i did a ping test it still shows 21 ms so can anyone guide why is this the case?

Fast path is disabled on your profile. When it's enabled your delay (msec) goes to zero. Here it is around 16.

when i call 1218 they say its enabled what should i do? :s

It do make difference, like on ME servers without fast path ping is around 100-90 but with fast patch on its 55-40
So demand for a visit for connection checkup and dont close the complaint until you get acceptable ping.

Keep your complaint up, after several attempts your actual ping problem will be solved but keep in mind PTCL randomly changes ts route so expect bad pings now and then and you have to redo the procedure.
