is it legal ?

if its illegal ... what can be the consequences ?


i am just using my ordinary sim in the place of Jazz 4g device sim ?

If 2 sims are being used at single IMEI it can be blocked by PTA dont risk it.

ok so here is my case//

i got a jazz 4g donggle device it gave me 2 mbp/s in starting days and at day 10 it came down to 6 kpbs. so i complained alot and they did nothing ... one day i learned the device can b unlocked for multiple ordinary sims .. so i unlocked it ...
after alot of days i came to know that with the unlocked device u cant use ordinary jazz sim and all other network sims... so i decided i need jazz one too ... in this process a guy changed my imei ..... i saved the original imei of the device and kept it...

with the changed imei from the agent , it gave me very less speed.
so i have got a spare mobile its useless and crap j-7 or something , i copied one slot imei from it , as no body uses it , and transferred it into the device..

so now 2 things happened .. one is device speed is increased,,

and two , i have a 10 gb per week bundle activated , Its DATA is not reducing its kind of unlimited now...
i was worried how cant the data be consuming while i am downloading something..

i had put a telenor sim into it , its speed was less like 250 kbps , the towers are very far away ... and to my amazement without any bundle being activated and just 3 rs in the sim .. i downloaded some files and watched some videoes on youtube


how could i be free browsing and downloading ?

For jazz devices yes you can change IMEIs and if its for some phone that is not in use that probably its fine.

1. With original imei and unlocked device all other network sims will work along with Jazz MBB sim that came with device aswell.
2. With changed imei and unlocked device all the sims will work mbb/voice/data from any company.

Now imei dosnt have any effect on the speeds its the device and signals, as its a dongle plug it in a place where signals are good, and remember Jazz device show full signals even if signal strength is average.

There will be an option in device settings > wifi you need to change it from auto to 40mbps I had a jazz mifi device and after unlocking I was facing the same speed issue and this solved the problem. Check your dongle/wingle if it has same option aswell.

Check bundle usage using sms or download jazz world app and add your no to it to see how much resources are remaining. Telenor gives free MBs if sim is not used for long. If not then its a jackpot a device that dosnt use data from sims

ty v much sir , i just checked its consuming data which it was not on the first 2 days.. however i want to ask sir , if there is any chance of being caught by police or law enforcement in this case which i i did ? which is , i transferred my old phone imei abandoned and put it into the device 4g ?

i dont want messes , already much in life.

No it wont if you are using only 1 device, people are using mobiles with punched IMEIs and I am talking about galaxy note 20 Ultras and One plus 8Ts.

Have you tried that auto to 40mb trick for speeds ?

hey buddy , yes i have changed from auto to 40M .. but my device is indoor inside room ... and i am very much far away from tower ... just to tell when the same sim which is in my patched 4g device , when its in sim , it hardly works it gives E , H+ sometimes it disappears dont know if i have wrong APN installed in the mobile or what but in this devices its working somehow.
having said this , overall performance is 40 percent but at late times like 2 am or 3 it flies like a jet but when data burden on tower is zero and all people are sleeping.

May i know if there is any way of placing the device outside on a roof or more higher place and get connected to it ? can i get a lengthy USB cable i can place it permanently on roof ?

It might get damaged in cold/rain/fog/heat. please it near a window or try finding a spot where there are some good signals. Normally how shit signals are it still gives 6-8mbps speed which is fine for day to day use.
