PTCL Fiber is awesome for me otherwise. Stable 20 Mbps downloads and the latency is decent enough.

I also have PTCL Fiber Line which support speeds upto 28Mbps, but I need more upload speed. Which is not possible with PTCL.

100 Mbps for 4k/month seems unbelievable.

If they were reliable and available in Rawalpindi, I'd get it in a heartbeat.

World Call internet not working since June and their Karachi customer care office guy called and said they are not getting paid so no one available to come and fix. So ssigned up with OPTIX yesterday... Lets see how they turn out when they install the connection. :icecream:

As mentioned by Hussein in your thread, StormFiber will be available in Model Town by next month. You can sign up on their website or call them and once their service is active in that area, they will get in touch with you for a site survey and set a date so they can install their equipment at your house.

I think you mean ONT, however it can technically be called an ONU as well.

Depends what network equipment is being used at the Storm Fiber office, if it's Huwaei, then a Huwaei ONT, if it's Alcatel, then an Alcatel ONT, and if it's ZTE, then a ZTE ONT.
Don't know the exact model numbers. Someone with StormFiber would know the exact model and what it looks like.

All network devices come with the standard 4 ethernet ports nowadays.

I have a WiFi ONT (From PTCL, not SF), and it has 4 Ethernet ports.

Never heard of it being in Multan.

All Fiber ISPs here are GPON based, AFAIK the charges listed on the website are the only charges unless mentioned otherwise.
