This is my first post here and I don't know alot about building a desktop, so I need someone to help me out. The budget can be up to Rs.100k, and it should be able to run PS4-XBOX1 gen games on medium-high graphics.

GPU prices are pretty high right now, not a good time to build a gaming PC unless money is no object. If you must, then go for a gaming laptop, as their prices are not that bloated. Alternatively, you can build a PC without the GPU and add-on the GPU when the market is back to normal, estimated to be around second quarter 2022. All Intel CPUs have iGPU except "F" models, and on AMD side only "G" models have iGPU.

Build a PC with an iGPU and start gaming today, add GPU later. Or buy a gaming laptop, might not be as upgradable or on same performance-level as its desktop counterparts but that you have to decide what works best for you.

Man, I've been trying to procure some GPUs or pre-built systems in US coz my brother is coming but it's pretty bad over there as well. No decent deals, MSRPs are high, stocks low, and eBay is off the rails. Brick & mortar stores have no system of reserving orders, you have to line up for hours on a hunch of a stock dump. Online sellers are selling junk bundles with GPUs, System builders making money on this shortage as well, selling pre-builts with parts that have high margin for them.

I wanted a 5800x/5900x with 3080 and both AMD 5000 CPUs and Nvidia's 3000 cards are unicorns right now. So far only managed to get an HP system with 5700G and 3070, hunt's still on, let me know if you know any good deals there.

follow Twitter and discord groups. Availability is a problem, and you wont get it at MSRP, but it is possible to follow them and get some on those.

New graphics cards for Desktop PC are very expensive and not easy to find in markets. You may try your luck on OLX or check some shops in person however.

My advice is to consider a gaming laptop. I can give some pointers in relation if you are interested.
