Salient features which include but are not limited to:
1- Chat
As you may have noticed, the classic shoutbox is missing from the forum homepage. This has been replaced with PG Chat.
Packed with many more features, it will make a great modern replacement for the shoutbox.
The new chat allows you to split conversations into different channels. We will have a dedicated channel for users to discuss games, upcoming tech and a general channel for everyday chit-chat. Private conversations between members are also allowed.
For those worried about notifications, especially those who are used to Tapatalk for mobile notifications, the new forum natively supports notifications that will be sent through the browser.
The new forum will also have full support for images, videos, GIFs and audio clips from major platforms like YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit etc.
2- Discord
Discord is now fully integrated with our forums! We will allow sign up and login on the forums through Discord and assign roles in the Discord server based on your usergroups on the forum itself.
Username matching will be enforced from the forums to the Discord server, and to keep things clean, a ban on the forum means a ban on the Discord server as well.

3- Marketplace
PG’s marketplace was one of its most unique features and it has been completely revamped.
All trader feedback has been migrated from the old system, and everyone keeps their marketplace stats, all positive, neutral and negative feedback will remain as is. We will have feedback statistics showing the latest submitted ratings, top traders, and what you could consider the wall of shame with a list of all untrustworthy traders. As usual, ratings will be moderated, and feedback can be reported to marketplace moderators in case of an unfair rating. Please note, that all post & traderscore reporting is now active. We request members to please refrain from posting in threads in case of dubious threads/bad experiences with a particular seller. Report the post instead, with a proper reason, and the respective mod will address it and resolve the situation.
A feature that has been requested for many years is now available. The new marketplace finally allows the sale of both physical and DIGITAL products. This will allow users to sell PSN, Steam, Xbox Live and various other gift cards, as well as offer foreign shipping services from sites like eBay and Amazon. Only trusted sellers will be allowed to sell in this section and they will require prior approval from mods to advertise digital items!
In Phase II of our migration, the marketplace itself will get a host of new features and a completely redesigned UI. Users will be able to specify their location, product prices, payment info, quantity available (for premium sellers) and warranty information in dedicated fields rather than typing them manually in the text box. Thread filters/prefixes will also be available to show only specific ad types (WTB, WTS, WTT).

There are almost 3 times the features implemented right now that we have not mentioned in this thread for you to find out, and many large feature upgrades we have in the roadmap. The idea was to get this out in your hands as a MVP as early as possible.
We've come a long way, but we still have far to go with regards to improvements and future additions to this platform. This is platform for gamers, by gamers.
