You guys finished it so soon !!! Man how do you even get so much time to play......... Btw how much time did it take you to finish it.. I am only 10 hours in and still on the second planet working my way over very slowly. I just love the verticality and the level design of the second planet (I think its groundbreaker) and how it lets you approach the main entrance in 3 different ways..... I am loving my time with this game.

I am actually exciting to see where would Obsidian go next with a bigger budget and much better support and hopefully a much bigger scope to work with now that they are under MS Studios.
Its a very short game for an RPG even if you do all the side quests. Approx 30hrs if you wana see everything. Main story is super short. 10ish maybe.

Yeah but there was no PS4 version to do the heavy lifting for Gears 5 yet it managed to chart in the Top 10. We know some IPs to not have chart even in the Top 20 while not being on Game Pass. If the game wasn't good the heavy lifters wouldn't have bought it either :p

Also means more Game Pass sales if the heavy lifters wana play the sequel :p

[h=1]The Outer Worlds is coming to Nintendo Switch in early 2020[/h]

During the 2020 fiscal year

The Outer Worlds is coming to Nintendo Switch in early 2020, according to an investor call earlier today.
The Outer Worlds publisher Private Division, a subsidiary of Take Two Interactive, announced the game will be released on Nintendo Switch during its 2020 fiscal year, which means that the game will drop before March 31, 2020, when the fiscal year ends.
The game was already announced for the Switch earlier this year, but this helps narrow down the release timing. The Outer Worlds released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on Oct. 25.
The Outer Worlds is the latest game by Obsidian Entertainment, the company behindFallout: New Vegas. In the short time since the game was released, it’s managed to draw attention to great NPCs and also fit the playstyle of a wide variety of players. The Outer Worlds will be a good addition to the Nintendo Switch library and should satisfy the itch of any RPG fans who have yet to get their hands on the game.

DLC for all platforms still on the way later

The Outer Worldswill launch on Nintendo Switch on March 6, Obsidian Entertainment announced today.
The game will ship an in-store version (a box with a code to download the game) and will be available from the Nintendo eShop. Both will cost $59.99. Virtuos Games is handling the port. The developer previously delivered L.A. Noirefor the Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of publisher Private Division, told investors in November that The Outer Worlds would launch on Switch early this year. The original release debuted Oct. 25 on PS4, Windows PC and Xbox One.

Though comparatively brief for an Obsidian role-playing game, The Outer Worlds is still a critical success, earning multiple nominations at the Game Critics Awards (where it won Best Original Game) and The Game Awards 2019. It was No. 7 on Polygon’s list of the 50 best games of 2019.
In December, Obsidian announced that The Outer Worlds would receive campaign-extension downloadable content sometime this year. The studio didn’t give any specific date or window for the new story DLC, or whether it would be free or premium.

That's pretty damn good for a Game Pass title. Now make an ambitious sequel please.

[h=1]Outer Wilds is coming to Steam on June 18[/h]

The game was previously on PC, but was an Epic Games Store exclusive

Outer Wilds, Polygon’s Game of the Year for 2019, is finally on its way to Steam. The spacefaring RPG will be available on Steam starting on June 18.
The game was originally released at the end of May 2019 on both Xbox One and PC, where it was an Epic Games Store exclusive. Outer Wilds later made its way to PlayStation 4 in October, but its PC exclusivity window remained closed. Now, a little over a year after its initial PC release, Steam players will get their chance to check out the game.
In Outer Wilds, players take control of a novice alien space explorer out on their first mission. Players can guide the astronaut around to explore their planet and the surrounding solar system, which is full of breathtaking — and dangerous — planets. But 22 minutes after lift-off, something happens, resetting the day and creating a Groundhog Day-style loop. The main thing that changes from playthrough to playthrough is the player’s knowledge, as they try to figure out why they are stuck in this loop.
The game isn’t available for pre-order yet on Steam but you can add it to your Wishlist. For now, the game is $24.99 on the Epic Games Store and on consoles, which is likely how much it will cost when it comes to Steam.

[h=1]The Outer Worlds coming to Nintendo Switch on June 5[/h]

Delayed in February over coronavirus closures

The Outer Worldswill be released for Nintendo Switch on June 5, publisher Private Divisionannounced on Tuesday. The space-faring game was previously delayed indefinitely in February after Chinese port developer Virtuos Games closed its studio following the coronavirus outbreak. The Outer Worlds was originally slated for a March 6 release date.
At the time, Private Division said it’ll produce a physical Nintendo Switch version of The Outer Worlds, too. That’s coming on June 5 with the digital version — but the physical cartridge will require “a day one patch that could be up to 6 GB,” Private Division said.
Both versions will cost $59.99 when they’re released on June 5.
The Outer Worlds was originally released by developer Obsidian Entertainment on Oct. 25, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.

I dont think games have looked any better since 2019 onwards and they are performing worse and worse. Game developers have really dropped the ball.

What is peoples obsession with Battle Royale genre. 6 minutes to find a match, 3 minutes to setup a match, 2 minutes to land, 10 minutes for scavanging maybe 2 3 gunfigts and its over. Multiplayer landscape is looking absolute dogshit.
I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.

After I watched it, I never felt like i watched a show. It was a friggin journey. I got way too attached to Thorfinn and seeing him grow up and find himself and get rid of all the negativity inside of him was just pure bliss.
