Sony are starting selling games/accessories/console directly from their website now (surprised it took that long), with a small selection of physical games available right now.

PS+ members will get 1 day shipping, which is pretty good.

Hi PlayStation fans, today we’re launching our own online store to offer PS4 consoles, accessories, games, and more directly from PlayStation for fans and gift-givers in the US, who can visit a single destination.

Integrated within the PlayStation.com website, you can now easily navigate from hardware and game product information pages directly to purchasing these PlayStation products from our store, ranging from PS4, PS4 Pro and PS VR systems and bundles, as well as headsets, DualShock 4 Wireless Controllers, PS VR accessories, a selection of physical games, and voucher codes for PS Plus subscriptions.

With plans to expand down the line, the store’s initial selection of physical disc games includes titles such as:

  • Astro Bot: Rescue Mission
  • Blood & Truth
  • Bloodborne
  • Days Gone
  • God of War 3 Remastered
  • Horizon Zero Dawn
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition
  • MLB The Show 19
  • Quantic Dream Collection
  • Ratchet & Clank
  • The Last of Us Remastered
  • Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

Catherine Full Body edition is tempting at $30. Haven't played the PS3 version, so should get this one.
You can get Catherine Classic (which is the original game) on PC 'free' :p

The new game apparently has a lot of problematic stuff as far as the new characters go from what I've read online lol

If you're OK with that, Catherine is a great puzzler with a surprisingly engaging choice based story.

The PS3/PC versions don't have online PvP (local only), which is something I wanted to try given the niche but dedicated following it has developed over the years at fighting game conventions.

Plus, I've been reading about some QoL changes to the gameplay and better camerawork. Even if I ignore the extra content, this looks like the version to play.

Pretty sure they won't be awarding a non-indie game in the presence of a 90+ (or close to it) indie game 🤷‍♂️
If that was true, Inside would've been the GoTY in 2016. So, your reasoning is still not making sense 🤷‍♂️

Has a non-indie game won anything from them in the last 3 years. It Takes Two will take (pun intended) it this year 🤣
That doesn't mean they were suddenly "more interested" in awarding an indie game. It just happened to be better than the competition

So we can say they are "more interested" in awarding AAA games when an indie doesn't win. Works both ways 🤷‍♂️

Not really as cinematic as the 90+ games perhaps? I haven't played it. Looked fun in the gameplay department tho 🤷‍♂️

Untitled Goooose game ran away with Sekiro/RE2 (still don't know which one got the Meta-certified win 🤔) Oscars 🤣
