that's all besides the point ..People bought enhanced consoles for 4K support, not performance modes. This is why DF also whole heartedly recommends One X version of RDR2 as the definitive console version and not the Pro version in its "performance" mode.
Generally performance modes target higher frames not 30fps. This means even the Pro didn't have much head room to perform better.
the point is that the drops in "resolution" mode are so infrequent and so few and far in-between that it still ends up being the recommended version, the frame pacing and frame rate is solid 95~99% of the time with some odd dips here and there.
