Lol this is exactly what I was doing while going through your post. Read on polygon that performance mode is the way to go since there is no performance cap at 1080p and although its not 60 fps its still way above 30fps mark.
According to the video, i'll be sticking to the CB 4K mode. It has rare drops to 29 FPS but otherwise is capped to 30 FPS.
The performance mode is very wildly inconsistent, it's more like the Final Fantasy XV performance mode.
God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2 are likely to be the major contenders for GoTY 2018.
It's just one or two 95+ scores away from a 95.Mani you were spot on with your prediction

2018 Q1 wasn't close to 2017 but it's starting to shape up now. August/Sep has a buncha great games too.

What other games are left? Goty is a lock between GoW and RDR2. Gonna be interesting to see which one of these joins the prestigious company of Witcher 3, Overwatch and Zelda BoTW as one of the best games of the generation.
