I cant believe [MENTION=11352]Necrokiller[/MENTION] isnt here talking about the series......
Binge watched it over the weekend and god damn couldnt take my eyes off the tv for a second. Extremely well made albeit a bit confusing due to the different time lines...... But I honestly cant believe how stupid the reviews were after watching it myself.... Certainly cant wait for the next season.....

Saw the first 3 episodes. Tits out of 10.

I have a couple of episodes left but I mostly agree with your take. The main cast were all good however the supporting cast isn't as strong and the timeline structure is bound to confuse many.
The Butcher of Blaviken fight though...this is the best sword fight I've ever seen in any TV show or movie for that matter. Designed by people who worked on MI Fallout.
Henry channels in-game Geralt to perfection.
The multiple timeline stuff is a bit convoluted especially for people who are not familiar with the books or games, even I've only played the 2nd and 3rd and the first indication of multiple timelines I got was the Witches ball where you see a young Foltest.
Other then that the production values of the show are pretty damn good, if not to a GoT scale yet and this is definitely the 'most' acting Hency Cavill has done in any of his roles yet, even though he is trying really hard to sound like the voice from the games.
They should have hired a more mature looking actress to play Yennifer and Triss is all wrong all the way .. she's not even a redhead let alone too dark for a nordic/slavic European based character.

Production values are already higher than GoT in its first season.
I can't think of a better actress to play Yennefer than Eva Green. But Anya is easily the best performer after Henry on the show.
Triss has brownish-red hair in the books. Only described as bright red at the end of the books. Thats where CDPR carried her look from.

Pro's:
- Easily the best Henry Cavil work yet
- Great production values and fight choreography etc
- The actress playing Yennifer has just the most god damn perfect tits you will see anywhere.
Con's:
- Multiple unstated timelines and time jumps are confusing for those who aren't coming in already with the book knowledge.
- Some of the CGI is wonky (the gold dragon and striga in the daylight)
- Geralt did Jaskier really dirty. Justice for Jaskier !
